Alok Vaid-Menon is an American writer, performance artist, and public speaker known for their spoken-word work and advocacy for trans and gender-nonconforming people. They have published works including the poetry collection Femme in Public and the guide Beyond the Gender Binary, and have performed internationally. Alok holds degrees from Stanford University and has completed artist residencies and appeared on TV and in documentary projects.
