Big Shoulders were active in the late 1980s and early 1990s and released two albums on Rounder Records — Big Shoulders (1989) and Nickel History (1991). Their recordings were produced by band members Ken Saydak and Larry Clyman (both alumni of Lonnie Brooks's band). The group's lineup included Ron Sorin (harmonica), Gary Krolak (bass), and Greg Bigger (drums).
