Chopping Spree formed at the University of British Columbia and perform as a five-piece ensemble featuring Kyler Young, Junny Chen, Hayden Cohen, Olivier Leclerc, and Eddie Naranjo. They released their debut album Anemoia on January 9, 2026 and have played Vancouver venues including the Rickshaw Theatre and Fox Cabaret.
