Compagnie Catherine Gaudet was founded in Montreal in August 2019 with Catherine Gaudet as artistic director and choreographer. The company has presented works internationally at festivals such as Festival TransAmériques, the Lyon Biennial and Tanz im August, and its 2022 piece Les jolies choses earned Gaudet the Grand Prix de la danse de Montréal in 2022. The company also received the CINARS International Touring Award in 2023 and frequently collaborates with composer Antoine Berthiaume and other contemporary dance partners.
