DBX is the recording alias of Daniel Bell, an American producer and DJ who launched the Accelerate label in 1991 and released influential singles including the 1994 track "Losing Control." He established 7th City Distribution in 1994, relocated to Berlin in 2000 and released the mix CD The Button?Down Mind of Daniel Bell on Tresor; a 2003 retrospective, Blip, Blurp, Bleep, collects his work.
