Dr. Mark Evered served as President and Vice?Chancellor of the University of the Fraser Valley from 2009–2017 and is a retired university leader. He holds a B.Sc. in biology and a Ph.D. in medical physiology and has held research and academic appointments at institutions including Cambridge University, the University of Western Ontario, the University of Saskatchewan, and the Howard Florey Research Institute. He is publicly noted to have a strong interest in music and plays keyboards.
