About
Basset is a Toronto-based indie-folk duo led by songwriters Sam Clark and Yasmine Shelton. Their debut album In The Clay was released in September 2022 (produced by Joshua Van Tassel) and they have performed at festivals and showcases including Winnipeg Folk Festival, NXNE and Folk Alliance. The band tours regularly across Canada, the UK and Europe and has received coverage on outlets such as CBC, NPR and No Depression.
