Formed in 1967 by producer/songwriter Curt Boettcher, the group recorded the sole studio album Begin (1968) for Columbia Records. Begin has since been regarded as a landmark of late-1960s West Coast studio pop/psychedelic production, though the band dissolved shortly after the album failed to achieve commercial success.
