Old Mervs are a duo made up of David House and Henry Carrington-Jones who began performing together in 2017 and adopted the name (after a childhood dog) in 2018. They signed to Dew Process and released EPs including Get Better (2022) and Give It Up (2023), with Give It Up debuting at No. 33 on the ARIA Albums Chart; their self-titled debut album was released March 21, 2025. Singles such as “Sweetheart” and “What You’ve Lost” placed in triple j’s Hottest 100 (2023 and 2024), and the band has toured in Australia and internationally.
