Formed during Oberlin Conservatory's Advanced String Quartet Seminar, Poiesis Quartet rapidly gained recognition through major competition wins, including First Prize and the Commission Prize at the 2025 Banff International String Quartet Competition and Grand Prize at the 2023 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. The group released its 2024 debut album 'as we are', joined the Concert Artists Guild roster in 2024, and received the 2026 Cleveland Quartet Award while holding residencies at institutions such as the University of Cincinnati CCM and Caramoor.
