Sundress is an American Dream-Pop band, formed in 2010 by principle members Ryan McAdams, Kennon Talley and Bassist Drew McCary. After several names and line up changes, the band added drummer Derek Kocich and keyboardist Jim Harrington to round out its current lineup. Sundress’ brand of ethereal dream-pop marries many influences ranging from Pink Floyd and The Beatles to Slowdive and Sparklehorse.
Sundress have self-released one EP (Sundress – 2011) and one single via White Iris (California Dames - 2012) that led to enthusiastic praise from the likes of the Stereogum, Spinner, Consequence of Sound, I Guess I’m Floating, Rawkblog, You Ain’t No Picasso, Knox Road, Austin Town Hall, and more. The band has supported acts such as Tame Impala, Pains of Being Pure At Heart, Washed Out, and many others.
