About
Barney Bentall and The Legendary Hearts recorded and toured extensively in Canada through the late '80s and '90s. They sold over a half a million records, won a JUNO Award, and were a staple on Canadian radio.
In 2000, Barney traded in his rock and roll life for that of a cattle rancher in the Cariboo region of B.C. Now, he divides his time between Bowen Island, his ranch, and the road. As well as solo recordings, garnering him several Canadian Folk Music Award nominations, Barney is part of the JUNO-nominated bluegrass group The High Bar Gang and The Cariboo Express.
Barney likens this powerful new solo performance to somewhere between Clarkson's Farm and Springsteen on Broadway. From the beautiful landscapes of life on the ranch to scenes backstage, on the road, and in front of a microphone, take an intimate look at the life of one of Canada's most celebrated singer-songwriters.
