Capture the natural setting of Deer Lake Park through your own eyes and creativity while two Shadbolt artists/instructors, Ian De Hoog and Broderick Wong, lead live sketching demonstrations, share practical tips and techniques and offer guidance as you draw. Members of Urban Sketchers Vancouver will be participating and sharing their sketches. Learn approaches to capturing landscapes, trees, architecture and natural details while developing your own sketching style.
Bring your sketchbook and drawing materials, and enjoy sketching alongside fellow artists, students and community members in a welcoming, informal setting. Everyone welcome to participate no matter age or experience. Drawing materials will be provided for those that need them.
