Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballets in the world. The production is based on an ancient German legend about the charming princess Odette, who was turned into a swan by the curse of the evil sorcerer Rothbart.
This mystical story unfolds to the music Pyotr Tchaikovsky and is based on the contrast of light and darkness, Odette and Odile. the Grand Kyiv Vallet presents Swan Lake in a unique Ukrainian version by prominent choreographers Anatoly Shekera and Valery Kovtun.
This interpretation of the world-famous work, is full of the spirit of freedom and the skill of Ukrainian artists. Grand Kyiv Ballet is showing Swan Lake all over the world as a symbol that we will not give it to the Russian aggressor who invaded Ukraine.
