About

The Eastside Culture Crawl is back for its 30th year, and this year it comes in two parts. First up is the brand-new Eastside Culture Crawl Preview (the "Pre-Crawl"), a preview exhibition at Eastside Arts Society featuring work from all of the artists taking part in this year's Crawl. Then, the Crawl itself takes over Vancouver's Eastside for four days of open studios, with 500+ painters, jewellers, sculptors, furniture makers, weavers, potters, printmakers, photographers, glassblowers, and more welcoming the public in.

Pre-Crawl: The Preview — November 5–22

Presented by Eastside Arts Society at their building on East Hastings Street, the Pre-Crawl gives you an early look at work from all of the artists who'll be opening their studios during the Crawl itself. It runs from November 5th right through to November 22nd, overlapping with the final day of the main event. Hours of operation TBD — check Eastside Arts Society's site for the latest details.

The Eastside Culture Crawl — November 19–22

The main event: four days of open studios across the area bounded by Columbia Street, First Avenue, Victoria Drive, and the Waterfront. Thursday and Friday hours run 5–10pm, with Saturday and Sunday from 11am–6pm. Wander in and out of working studios, meet the artists behind the work, and explore everything from emerging talent to internationally established names.

Both the Preview and the Crawl are free and open to the public.
