After 27 years of reshaping what a jazz group could be, The Bad Plus says goodbye. Catch one of the final shows on their international farewell tour before the band closes its story for good this December.
Known for pulling rock’s energy, improvisational freedom, and an irreverent, genre-blind sense of humour into one sound, The Bad Plus built a reputation as one of the most distinctive acts in modern jazz, equally at home covering Nirvana as reinventing Stravinsky. The current lineup, founding members Reid Anderson bass and Dave King drums with Ben Monder guitar and Chris Speed saxophone, has spent the past two years touring farewell dates across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia. Vancouver is one of their last stops before the band closes things out in Minneapolis, where it all began.

Accessibility: Tickets are general admission with a combination of standing room, theatre soft seats, and bar stools. Seating is limited, and available only on a first-come, first-serve basis. We encourage you to get on the dance floor!
