Greg Girard at The Polygon Gallery
Acclaimed Canadian photographer Greg Girard receives his first-ever career survey at The Polygon Gallery this summer. Running July 10–October 25, the exhibition features more than 160 photographs spanning over five decades, tracing Girard’s evolution from documenting 1970s Vancouver to capturing the dramatic transformations of cities across Asia, including Hong Kong’s Kowloon Walled City and the rapidly changing streets of Shanghai.
The exhibition offers a rare look at one of Canada’s most influential photographers, showcasing iconic images, never-before-seen outtakes, and recent work from the Lower Mainland. From intimate portraits to striking urban landscapes, the show explores the people, places, and moments that have defined Girard’s celebrated career.
Admission to The Polygon Gallery is by donation, making this a must-see exhibition for photography lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone interested in the changing face of cities around the world.
