Arvind Ramdas Trio

Arvind Ramdas is a Vancouver-based jazz drummer who has become a vital presence in the city’s vibrant jazz community. He has performed alongside many of Vancouver’s leading musicians, including Tom Keenlyside, Steve Kaldestad, Noah Franche-Nolan, Sharon Minemoto, Brad Turner, Miles Black, Jodi Proznick & John Gross to name a few. He has also appeared as an opening act for 11-time Grammy Award–winning bassist Christian McBride.Renowned for his musical sensitivity, dynamic range, and deep sense of swing, Arvind is a sought-after collaborator on the Vancouver jazz scene. For this performance, he is joined by Cory Weeds and David Caballero—both prominent figures in Vancouver jazz—for two high-energy sets celebrating the hard bop tradition.
