Andrea Valentine-Lewis, Curatorial Assistant at the Vancouver Art Gallery will share the curatorial vision behind Future Geographies: Art in the Century of Climate Change, an exhibition that brings together contemporary artists to explore our evolving relationship with the natural world.
Eveline Kolijn, a Calgary–based curator, printmaker and installation artist, will discuss Energy Futures, a collaborative initiative uniting 20 artists, 20 writers and 20 energy experts to foster dialogue around energy literacy and Alberta’s energy future.
The Wandering Island will explore how curatorial approaches can extend beyond the gallery space to create immersive, place-responsive experiences that connect audiences with local landscapes and environmental questions.
