Thomas Maxey is a Vancouver-born DJ and producer who’s coloured thousands of moments with sound, always digging for the track that connects us to right now. He recently discovered that the 64 squares on a chessboard are like the 64 beats in a 16-bar verse. Both music and chess play with the kid in us, presenting presence as the best purpose — the key to building bridges between strangers.
