Francis Henson Trio

Francis Henson Trio is Vancouver bandleader Francis Henson’s foray into the aural popular music landscape celebrating the guitar and the song. Alongside a rotating cast of the city’s best musicians, the trio plays a selection of R&B, Soul, Blues, and Jazz repertoire, paying homage to the Black American Music tradition through groove-based exploration and informed improvisations. Francis Henson Trio is for intentional, devoted, and celebratory music-making.
