About

MONOVA: Archives of North Vancouver is the public archives for the City and District of North Vancouver, housed in the heritage Community History Centre in Lynn Valley, the former 1920 Lynn Valley Elementary School. The archives moved to this site in 2006 and provides public access to municipal, business, and personal records alongside a research reading room and small conference/event space. Located near Lynn Valley Village and the public library, it’s a quiet research-focused destination distinct from the waterfront museum in Lower Lonsdale.

Limited visitor parking directly in front of the Community History Centre, including a designated accessible stall.

Public transit

Short walk to Lynn Valley Centre exchange; served by TransLink routes 228 (Lynn Valley/Lonsdale Quay), 229, 240, and 210, with connections at Lonsdale Quay to the SeaBus for downtown Vancouver.
