Slice of Life is an artist?run gallery, gift shop, and studio hub on Venables Street that hosts exhibitions, workshops, life drawing, and regular comedy nights in an intimate East Van setting. Founded and led by creative director Sheena Botelho, the space evolved from a 2015 screen?printing studio into a community centre supporting hundreds of local artists, with pinball nights and inclusive programming. Steps from Commercial Drive’s cafes and bars, it functions as a neighborhood gathering point as much as an arts venue.
