Jimi’s debut album, What a Feeling, took her from Nashville to L.A. to Singapore stadiums, showcasing an emerging artist unafraid to explore. Her blues-rock sound marked a pivotal moment, with her viral performances catching the attention of rock icon Bryan Adams and sparking a co-writing collaboration set to feature in her upcoming releases.
Learning the blues from her father, and inspired by artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, and Stevie Nicks, Jimi has spent her career crafting vintage soul with a modern edge into a genre-defying sound that is entirely her own.
With a smoky voice, electrifying guitar lines, and fearless storytelling, Jimi is bringing revived energy to the blues-rock scene and introducing the sound to a new generation. Following a tour opening for Cameron Whitcomb across Canada and several headline shows of her own, we are thrilled to welcome Jimi to the intimate setting of the Kay Meek’s Cabaret Series.
